Solution-oriented!

Don’t find fault, find a remedy.

Henry Ford

This can’t be stressed often enough: Your every action should be solution-oriented!

Instead of looking for scapegoats or excuses, you should use your brain to search for a way to overcome the obstacle you are facing.

Never forget this doctrine: Think and act solution-oriented. Forget blame and fault and start taking responsibility in a positive, solution-oriented way!

You are responsible

If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams.

Les Brown

It is up to you to decide who you are and what kind of life you are living.

Sometimes it helps to think of life as a game. Compare it with role-playing games for example, where you get to choose your character traits and adjust your behaviour accordingly to your beliefs.

Why not to that in real life? Yes, there are difference, but let’s focus on the similarities for now: You can decide who you want to be and you can shape this person according to your likings and beliefs.

This is a huge advantage but also comes with a lot of responsibility.

You have to realise that you have this responsibility and you have to act accordingly. Remember:

If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much

With this in mind, enjoy your week!

Have you ever dreamt of mowing the lawn?

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

Beverly Sills

This might be very rational and materialistic, but there is a lot of truth in it.

No goal, no dream will be easy to achieve. I like the saying: ‘If it were easy, it were easy.

Nobody dreams of the easy stuff, because of the fact that it is easy. Have you ever dreamt of mowing the lawn? No? I thought so.

A goal is actually worth more the harder it becomes to achieve it. Therefore, when times get tough I like to think of it as an improvement. It means that I could be working on a lot of important tasks and meaningful goals.

But be careful: Not everything that is hard guarantees a desirable outcome, therefore you should avoid the mistake of working hard towards the wrong goals. Just keep in mind: There is no substitue for hard work when it comes to achieving your dreams.

Bullshit stories

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.

Jordan Belfort

When it comes to achieving your goals, you could be your own worst enemy.

Other people can be as negative as they want, as long as you keep your head up. But the moment you stop believing in yourself and in your goals, you are doomed to fail.

Stop telling yourself reasons why you won’t achieve something. Stop fearing that you might actually get what you dream of.

Start working on your goals and never stop believing in your ability to achieve them.

You own mindset and your attitude towards success is way more important than any other circumstance. Circumnstances can be altered or created, but no one will go into your head and alter your state of mind. That is your task, so start today and work on a positive, solution-oriented mindest!

To think is easy. To act is hard. But the hardest thing in the world is to act in accordance with your thinking.
