Training as a status symbol

A well built physique is a status symbol. It reflects you worked hard for it, no money can buy it, you cannot borrow it, you cannot inherit it, you cannot steal it. You cannot hold onto it without constant work. It shows discipline, it shows self-respect, it shows patience, work ethic and passion. That is what I do what I do

Alone time is a necessity

Your elevation may require your isolation.

I knew from an early age that being part of the crowd wasn’t my style. I spent/spend a lot of time alone but I’m never lonely. The solitude helps me focus on me and I enjoy my own company.

It’s where I can contemplate life and the universe.

It’s where I can learn.

It’s where I can find my peace.

It’s where I can grow.

Whether it’s training, traveling or simply enjoying my alone time.. It’s a necessity.

The ones that count

I don’t count my sit-ups; I only start counting when it starts hurting because they’re the only ones that count.

Put in the hard work

There’s no talent here, this is hard work.

This is an obsession.

Talent does not extist, we are all equals as human beings. You could be anyone if you put in the time. You will reach the top, and that’s that.

I am not talented, I am obsessed.

Learning and training

The human mind treats a new idea the same way the body treats a strange protein; it rejects it.

P. B. Medawar

Similar to your muscles being sore after a hard workout, your brain gets strained by use. This should not discourage but encourage you to use it even more. Train your brain like you would train your muscles, by use and intelligent repetition.
