Look for small victories and build on that. Each small victory, even if it is just getting up five minutes earlier, gives you confidence. You realize that these little victories make you feel great, and you keep going. You realize that being paralyzed by fear of failure is worse than failure.
Arnold Schwarzenegger
This is very important. Being paralyzed by fear is one of the worst situations you can possibly find yourself in.
You have to overcome this paralyzed state and start taking risks. In order to life and not just exist, you have to create motion, you have to become active. Make plans, follow through!

Buddha was asked “What have you gained from meditation?”
He replied, “Nothing!”
“However”, Buddha said, “let me tell you what I lost: Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Insecutiry, Fear of Old Age and Death.”

Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.
Bill Cosby
Everybody is afraid. You have to be careful not to get into a state of paralysis. Keep going, conquer your fear! Don’t get rid of it, learn how to live with it and use it as a motivation.

The more you move out of your comfort zone, the more rewarding your efforts will be. Leave your fear behind, give yourself a little push every now and then and experience true freedom – realising that fear is just your brain telling you to be careful!

Courage is not the absence of fear, it is inspiring others to move beyond it.

If you can’t control your anger, you are as helpless as a city without walls waiting to be attacked.
Anger is the path to the dark side. Do not go there. And if you must, go there willingly, controlled.

The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear.
Brian Tracy
This one is important and I wrote about it several times in different forms.
Your mind is extremely powerful and you have to guide it well!
For example: You are facing a test, let’s say you make the driver’s license. What you want to focus on are thoughts like “I’m going to be a driver soon” “I will pass the test” “I will drive on the streets in a car whenever I want to”. Think positively and think about what you will achieve, not about what you might fail or lose.
This positive attitude will motivate you much more than plain fear of failure and the good thing is: You will like to think about it. Thinking about failure can lead to escapism which is not what you want. Do not think “This is too much to tackle, I’ll stay in bed”, rather think “Wow, I will do this, let’s start right now!”
It works wonders!
