The most important thing in achieving anything is working your butt off. Yes, there are factors like luck or bad luck, but in my experience luck comes to the hardworking and diligent people, not to the lazybones.
Letting each day pass by, just getting along, daydreaming won’t get you far. Start to take some responsibility and start acting. You do not have to build an empire within a day and you do not have to follow through with everything you start. Maybe you realise that you want to try out other ideas some weeks in, that does not matter.
Start with confidence, start boldly, start today!

This might be very rational and materialistic, but there is a lot of truth in it.
No goal, no dream will be easy to achieve. I like the saying: ‘If it were easy, it were easy.‘
Nobody dreams of the easy stuff, because of the fact that it is easy. Have you ever dreamt of mowing the lawn? No? I thought so.
A goal is actually worth more the harder it becomes to achieve it. Therefore, when times get tough I like to think of it as an improvement. It means that I could be working on a lot of important tasks and meaningful goals.
But be careful: Not everything that is hard guarantees a desirable outcome, therefore you should avoid the mistake of working hard towards the wrong goals. Just keep in mind: There is no substitue for hard work when it comes to achieving your dreams.
