Mind over body

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.

Use your brains

Let me tell you something about me: I was never a good learner. You could say I never learned to learn.

Going through University right now this troubles me a lot as you can think and therefore I decided to quit complaining and put an end to it.

So recently I started my very own approach of learning how to learn and I found this to be very true:

The brain is liek a muscle. When it is in use we feel very good. Understanding is joyous.

Carl Sagan

Do not neglect your brains!

This does not apply solely to school, college or university but to every aspect of your life, be it work, hobbies or play.

Use your brains, educate yourself! It may be a rough start, but once you get used to it, you will enjoy it. A lot!

Interests!

Formal education will make you a living. Self education will make you a fortune.

Jim Rohn

Your passion should be reason number one for what you learn.

As long as you learn for yourself and educate yourself in order to learn stuff you really care about, you are doing it right.

Are you busy?

Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.

Henry David Thoreau

What are you doing in order to achieve your goals?

Are you actually doing something about it or do you merely dream about achieveing your goals and let your daydreaming distract you?

There is a reason, the word is called ‘business’!

Get started, do your work!

Look in the mirror

You are your only scapegoat.

You are your supervisor, your mentor, your scholar, you are responsible for what happens in your life and you should not dare to hold someone else responsible for that!

Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.
