Work ethic

Do what you love, love what you do, and deliver more than you promise.

Harvey Mackay

Suprise people by doing your job passionately and by doing more than expected. People often don’t like working and just see it as a way to gain money, so you will stand out if you love your job and that will show!

About courage and fear

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.

Ambrose Redmoon

Fear is natural and a good thing. Everybody has fear and everybody has a lot of fear.

Not giving a fuck – lunch-style

Fear is your mind telling you to be cautious wich is great. But you have to be able to cope with it. Know that fear is nothing dangerous or something to be afraid of. Use your fear, embrace it and still make rational decisions.

Fear is like a human being always yelling at you before you make something dangerous. You can run away scared or make the deliberate decision that this fear-guy has to shut up for a minute because you need to kick some ass!

Are you envious?

It is in the character of very few men to honor without envy a friend who has prospered

Aeschylus

You should give your friends respect and honour their accomplishments. Don’t envy their achievements but rather compliment them while working on your own. It is great that they succeed, you should support and enjoy that. What is more cool than having happy and successful friends?

Don’t destroy their success with envy and don’t suck the fun out of sharing achievements with close friends and family.

You will be suprised how much more awesome it feels when you can be happy with and for your friends rather than sitting in the dark corner and thinking fun-consuming thoughts about why they succeeded and you did not.

Yolo? A motivating reason to disagree [picture]

You only live once? Well I tend to disagree and this webcomic displays perfectly why:

So go out and do what you love and do it well. Start with one skill set, master it, then move on.

Positivity! :)

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Being happy and satisfied is something that happens inside your head, not something that comes from somewhere out there in the world.

Tell yourself that the world is awesome and you will realize that in fact it truly is! Just believe how amazing your life is and you will be way more satisfied with your situation.

When you wake up in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror and genuinely smile! It will make you laugh, because it feels strange to smile at yourself for no reason and laughing is the best way to start the day! 🙂

About regret

Never regret. If it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience.

Victoria Holt

Don’t dwell in the past and think about your mistakes. This simple quote should remind you of what is important in life. Making stuff happen. Mistakes also happen, don’t worry too much.

Just be awesome

Few things are harder to put up with than a good example.

Mark Twain

Just live an awesome life. Don’t brag about it, don’t teach other people lessons, don’t criticize too much, instead just have fun and be a fun person.

That will actually motivate others a lot more to be awesome and give them way more to think about than stupid talks about a good moral attitude or lifestyle.

Everybody starts small

Every artist was first an amateur.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Don’t be discouraged by being not good at something. You will get good eventually if you put in work. You love it? Do it!

Motivation for work

Don’t go into business to get rich. Do it to enrich people. It will come back to you.

Stew Leonard

People often ask me how much money I make with being an enterpreneur and think it is abot being rich or having more money than others.

But same as with any other work your motivation for daily creation should be to build up new value. Do not work in order to get payed. Do something awesome, create value by doing stuff you love. That’s when people want to pay you, trust me.

Failure, like it, embrace it!

To live a creative life we must lose our fear of being wrong.

Joseph Chilton Pearce

Don’t fear being wrong. Actually being wrong means you tried and learned a way that is not working therefore you know more about the thing you tried than before. Failing is learning by doing and learning by doing is extremely efficient. Don’t be too scared to learn!
