You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
Eleanor Roosevelt
Ever found yourself lacking self-esteem or having trouble doing certain tasks that you felt you should be able to do?
I have a cure for that. Challenge yourself! Chose any given task that is a personal challenge, may it be going to the club alone, talking to strangers, building something, jumping out of a plane, whatever it is that you are scared of.
Take this task/challenge and go for it! Embrace your fear, embrace your uncomfortable feeling! You will push through, you will suceed and finally you will feel great, comfortable, full of self-esteem and courage.
Every once in a while you have to achieve tasks, you have to prove to yourself: I can do it! If your job or your hobbies don’t give you this good feeling of having achieved something than you have to add it to your life in other ways.
This is for example why video games or games in general are so popular. Achieving stuff, no matter how small, lets us grow as persons. We show ourselves and others: I still got it, I can learn to do something that I was not able to do before, I am awesome!
I dare you. I double-dare you! Go out and prove to yourself that you are in fact awesome!

If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.
Steve Jobs
No matter what one thinks of Apple and their products, Steve Jobs was a genius!
This quote is especially important for entrepreneurs and bosses. Why? Because they have to motivate either themselves or their employees or both.
You do not have to push your employees to be awesome as long as they work on awesome projects. If they have some freedom and work on interesting projects they will gladly rip themselves apart for your company.
Same goes for yourself: Always chose awesome over mediocre! If there is the possibility for an awesome project that might seem too big at the first glance better take a shot at it than step down and do a simpler one. You can do it and the reward will be waking up every morning motivated and pumped to start the day!
Keep awesome and interesting projects on your bucket list in order to make your life fun and interesting, both for you and the people around you.
Don’t settle. Don’t be okay with mediocre. Go for awesome, go for legendary, go for your dreams no matter how crazy they may be.
See you at the top!

Let us so live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.
Mark Twain
If you died right now, would that affect the world? Do you have an impact on more people than your close family? If not, start to be awesome, dare to be great!
People should apreciate and value your company, they should like you and being with you and they should be sad when you are no longer around. This is not about ego or social value, it is merely about this simple equation:
People enjoy awesomeness therefore people will enjoy you as long as you are awesome.
Be polite, be friendly, do awesome stuff, support others, be kind without wanting payback, be open, be honest and after all don’t forget your goals and ambition in life!

The problem, often not discovered until late in life, is that when you look for things in life like love, meaning, motivation, it implies they are sitting behind a tree or under a rock.
The most successful people in life recognize, that in life they create their own love, they manufacture their own meaning, they generate their own motivation.
For me, I am driven by two main philosophies, know more today about the world than I knew yesterday. And lessen the suffering of others. You’d be suprised how far that gets you.
Neil deGrasse Tyson
You are not a child! You may still be able to have fun like a child (which is awesome), but you are responsible for yourself meaning you are responsible for your own well-being. Therefore you may blame it on other people or life in general that you just don’t have motivation, love, a purpose in life, but in the end it is you who suffers and takes the consequences.
Even if you were right and someone else was trying to make you feel bad what would that make you? Nothing more than someone who gets bullied around and instead of fighting back just points his finger towards others.
Don’t be that unreactive tool, rather take action, start living! You create your own life and you have to stop thinking that ‘one day’ you will just wake up with discipline, one day you will just get to know the love of your life without effort or one day you simply get told why you are on earth.
It is your task (and a fun one) to form your habits, your mind, your soul and your body. Yup, sounds cheesy, but come to think of it: Who else but you has power over your life? Noone you say? Damn right, that’s what I wanted you to say! So go out there and be the person who you wanted to be, say the things that you wanted to say and do the stuff that you wanted to do!

What makes a man is not how he behaves in front of people but rather how he behaves when no one is looking.
Behaving in front of people just shows that you have manners or self respect. It shows that you want to present yourself in a certain way.
But what you do when no one is watching, how you behave when no one is looking and judging, that shows who you really are.
Think about this and think about wether or not you like this person right now.

It’s simple … go the extra mile and you will stand out from the crowd.
Robin Crow
Well at least in theory 😉
But actually it really is this simple, just work a little bit harder, stay a little big longer and become a little bit better, it will pay off!
