Learn from children

Look at children. Of course they may quarrel, but generally speaking they do not harbor ill feelings as much or as long as adults do. Most adults have the advantage of education over children, but what is the use of an education if they show a big smile while hiding negative feelings deep inside? Children don’t usually act in such a manner. If they feel angry with someone, they express it, and then it is finished. They can still play with that person the following day.

His Holiness the Dahai Lama

Why the anger?

People are strange. They are constantly angered by trivial things, but on a major matter like totally wasting their lives, they hardly seem to notice.

Charles Bukowsky

On Anger

Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which is it stored than to anything on which it is poured.

Mark Twain

Take a moment and think

When anger rises, think of the consequences.

Let go of anger

Anger is never without reason, but seldom with a good one.

Benjamin Franklin

Stop Anger

For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

On Anger

There are two things a person should never be angry at, what they can help and what they cannot.
