About job choices

My job often requires being up pretty early or working pretty late. While this fact can be tiresome, I always look forward to new tasks and am generally more fit on work mornings, because I am grateful for my job and like the work I do, a lot.

It is important to chose a job that motivates you. As long as you have to motivate yourself to get the job done, you have clearly chosen the wrong job (Or you are in a situation where you have to get over some obstacles in order to reach your dream job, never mind that)

Find a job that you do with passion and enthusiasm, a job that motivates you to get up early, work hard, work long hours and generally put a lot of good effort into, and you have made great progress on your path to happiness.

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

Work!

Dreams don’t work unless you do.

You can make dreams come true.

Every dream requires work, taking risks and determination, life does not gift you success.

Seize the day

People wait all week for friday,

all year for summer,

all life for happiness.

Why wait for good things to happen?

Instead, rather make them happen! Earn what you want to have, gain what you desire!

You are responsible

If you want to succeed in the world must make your own opportunities as you go on. The man who waits for some seventh wave to toss him on dry land will find that the seventh wave is a long time a coming. You can commit no greater folly than to sit by the roadside until some one comes along and invites you to ride with him to wealth or influence.

John B. Gough

This is your life and you are the captain.

While you wait for opportunities to knock at your door, others are making fortunes and living happy lifes. Think about what you want in life and then go out there and GO GET IT!

No arguments needed, simply start gaining what you want to have.

Get your hands dirty!

You cannot plough a field by
turning it over in your mind.

Yup, thinking is good. It’s great, I’d even say it is awesome!

I love to think.

Nontheless, there are a lot of things that just wont be accomplished by thinking alone.

Knowing the best fitness routine isn’t going to cut it, you have to get sweaty.
Knowing the easiest and fastest way to clean your apartment is not enough, you must apply!

Do not be lazy!

Find the fun

In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and SNAP – the job’s a game!

Julie Andrews

This is true for every imaginable work!

Well, except doing laundry and ironing. That stuff is torture from another world.

Embrace Chaos and Problems

Storms make oaks take roots.

Only through chaos and conflict you will learn to cope with problematic situations.

Living a live without challenges, without dead-ends, would make you a pretty boring and also pretty weak on your own.

You have to embrace challenges in order to grow with them, in order to become more awesome day by day.

Look twice

Looking sharp is easy when you haven’t done any work.

Not so modest!

Hide not your talents, they for use were made. What’s a sun-dial in the shade.

Benjamin Franklin

Being humble is a good thing.

Being too modest about your talents is a bad thing.

While you should not brag about whatever you are good (or bad) at, you should not hide it either. Chances are, somebody needs your certain set of skills, but as long as they don’t know of your talent, nothing happens.

Show people what you are made of, do not be afraid of promoting your skills, do not be afraid of self-confidence.
