This is a story about four people named everybody, somebody, anybody and nobody.
There was an important job to be done and everybody was sure somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was everybody’s job. Everybody thought anybody could do it but nobody realized that everybody wouldn’t do it.
It ended up that everybody blamed somebody when nobody did what anybody could have done.
And the moral of the story? Just do it!

The best job goes to the person who can get it done without passing the buck or coming back with excuses.
Napoleon Hill
See it from an employers’ or a clients’ perspective: You do want something to get done. You do not want to have to struggle with it, you just want someone to deal with it for you.
The best person to do this is the person who just gets the job done without any further complications. You do not want to deal with consecutive workers or with the problem itself, your want the first person you hired to get it over with.
That’s a crucial concept in why some people are favoured over others when it comes to giving out jobs.
Learn to be a problem-solver and focus on solutions, not on excuses or obstacles.

Most people work just hard enough not to get fired and get paid just enough money not to quit.
George Carlin
What do you get out of your job and what does your boss (if there is one) get out of you? Do you benefit from your job in more ways than just earning money?
If you don’t, you should reevaluate your current priorities and change something!

The poorer we are inwardly, the more we try to enrich ourselves outwardly.
Bruce Lee
When it comes to making money, it is not all about money.
What seems paradox at first, makes great sense, once you understood the concept. Money is not an end in itself, never can be. You salary should be a happy feeling, a feeling of achievement and of purpose.
Your job should fulfil you and be a happy part of your life instead of money-giving torture. Think about this considering your recent and future jobs.

When we accept tough jobs as a challenge to our ability and wade into them with joy and enthusiasm, miracles can happen. When we do our work with a dynamic conquering spirit, we get things done.
Gilbert Arland
Work is not torture, obstacles are not some sort of bad fate.
Work and obstacles give you challenges to overcome, riddles to solve. Take them on and you will be rewarded in many ways.

My job often requires being up pretty early or working pretty late. While this fact can be tiresome, I always look forward to new tasks and am generally more fit on work mornings, because I am grateful for my job and like the work I do, a lot.
It is important to chose a job that motivates you. As long as you have to motivate yourself to get the job done, you have clearly chosen the wrong job (Or you are in a situation where you have to get over some obstacles in order to reach your dream job, never mind that)
Find a job that you do with passion and enthusiasm, a job that motivates you to get up early, work hard, work long hours and generally put a lot of good effort into, and you have made great progress on your path to happiness.
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.

This is a profound fact about success.
As long as you do not enjoy whatever you are doing, you will never be good at it.
Work can fulfill your life, yes. But it is not about the abstract thing ‘work’, but about its content. Work, that you truly love, can fulfill your life.
Remember this important fact and think about your job or your perspective.

An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made, in a narrow field.
Niels Bohr
Having wide spread interests is awesome. Also awesome is being genuinely good at one thing. Therefore find your passion and work till you pass out!
Becoming a professional means making mistake after mistake and not quitting. Then after some time you know more about your job than any other person because they quit at some point and you pushed through!
