If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams.

This is your life!

Don’t worry about what I’m doing, worry about why you’re worried about what I’m doing.

This is your life, and it’s ending one minute at a time!

Make use of your time, go out there, set yourself some goals and work hard on achieving them!

Proper goal setting

The greatest danger for most of us is not that we aim too high and we miss it, but we aim too low and reach it.

Remember to put the glass down!

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the “half empty or half full” question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: “How heavy is this glass of water?”

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it’s not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”

She continued, “The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if your think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything.”

Remember to put the glass down.

With this in mind, enjoy your weekend!

Get active!

If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.

Milton Berle

Sometimes life does not serve you opportunities on the golden platter. Go out there and create them!

There’s always something to learn!

We have to abandon the idea that schooling is something restricted to youth. How can it be, in a world where half the things a man knows at 20 are no longer true at 40 – and half the things he knows at 40 hadn’t been discovered when he was 20?

Arthur C. Clarke

Nowadays this seems to be more relevant than ever. Living means learning and making progress!

Hang on!

Don’t give up. Normally it is the last key on the ring which opens the door.

Paulo Coelho

You are probably closer to your goal than you think, just hang on a little bit longer! Do this last run, get up early one more time, keep going a little bit longer!
