The importance of goals

Give me a stock clerk with a goal, and I will give you a man who will make history. Give me a man without a goal, and I will give you a stock clerk.

Hard work spotlights the character of people: Some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don’t turn up at all.

Make use of the storms

Thanks to the loyal bunch

As many of you know, one of my goals for this blog was and is to reach one million views. So far I reached a little bit more than 500.000 views, and I am really proud of that.

But what makes me way more proud and very thankful are my loyal readers, the subscribers who get my posts every day. Some of you read the mail, some the rss-feed and some might just read the posts via wordpress. Together you make up the loyal readership that I can address every single day and as of this week you reached the 2000-people-barrier.

Wow! To be honest, it took me quite a while to grasp the fact that every day or at least every other day, 2000 people are reading my posts. As you know I do not use this blog for anything else than posting quotes and (very infrequently) some texts about motivation and I intend to keep it that way. I am very grateful for your loyalty and I enjoy the constant growth of my readership a lot. You are a big reason for me to prepare a post every day, you give me the motivation to keep this blog alive. And in return, I try my best to give you some motivation for your everyday struggles.

That’s it for today, just a big THANK YOU for your support and your trust in my content.

Best wishes,

Phil
