Learn to take criticism

Improvement!

Don’t get bitter, get better.

Nothing will make you feel better and more alive than self development.

Making improvements and getting better than your previous self every day is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Work on yourself and focus on improving.

Take your time and embrace patience

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.

Lao Tzu

We tend to be impatient when it comes to a lot of things.

Especially when it is about gathering material goods we strive for instant gratification and can’t wait even a little bit. But also when it is about long-term goals like fitness or monetary wealth we tend to rush things and get to eagerly.

It is great to trust in things working out. A lot of processes need time and constant improvement, rather than intensive short-term care. Take your time and enjoy the growth, even if it is not easy to be spotted every every second of the process.

Sometimes try to think of progress like you think of a growing tree: Not much at all. It just grows every day without you realising it and then some day you look out of the window and are astounded by the sheer magnitude of that tree.

Care for constant improvement and work on your goals, don’t let impatience make you focus too much on instant grafitication rather than long-term results.
