One possible way out

Maybe this is not always the best solution, but a fun way to think of:

I never panic when I get lost. I just change where it is I want to go.

About knowledge

Our vision is more obstructed by what we think we know than by our lack of knowledge.

What’s with that attitude?

As many of you know, I think of attitude as one of the most important factors in improvement. Here are some pretty well spoken words from Charles Swindoll concerning attitude:

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.

We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.

We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our attitudes.”

Principles and respect

I’m not too emotional of a guy. People say I have a good heart, but they’re wrong. I have principles. The heart is a fickle thing. There’s no way I can love everybody. So I’m not even going to try. But I can respect everyone whether I love them or not. And that I try to do.

The positive effects of pressure

To achieve great things, two things are needed. A plan, and not quite enough time.

Leonard Bernstein

Awesome quote! And it is so true.

Having a tight time schedule creates the certain kind of pressure that just gets you to get stuff done. It forces you to get going, which can be extremely motivating.
