What do you want?

Discipline is choosing between what you want now, and what you want the most.

What is your attitude?

Your philosophy determines whether you will go for the disciplines or continue the errors.

Jim Rohn

Have you decided to go for the discipline?

I hope so and if you are reading this it is likely.

So enjoy the comforting and nice feeling of having done tasks in a disciplined manner over the succumbing thougts of regret.

Comfort Zone

The secret to life is being comfortable with being uncomfortable and doing the things you know you should be doing even when you don’t feel like it.

About chores

You do what you have to do, to do what you want to do.

Patricia Fripp

Sometimes there is stuff you do not want to do.

I personally do not like to study for university. Who does? But sometimes you have to push trough those nasty chores in order to get where you wanted to.

Bear this in mind the next time an unwanted and unpleasant task awaits.

Discipline!

Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built. Lack of discipline inevitably leads to failure.

Jim Rohn

Yup, talent is awesome. So are great circumstances or plain luck. But also hard work and dedication! And while you do not have controll over talent, circumstances or luck you do have controll over your own discipline!

Discipline will lead to success. Set yourself a goal, think about how to achieve it and work your ass off! It does not get any harder, and not simpler.

I do know how hard it can be, believe me. But I also do know that every single one of you (including me) is able to be disciplined.

You know the saying: You either face the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. I chose discipline, what will you?

The lesser evil

It is your pick:

We must all suffer one of two things:

The pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment.

Jim Rohn

I wish for you all that you find the strength to chose discipline over regret.

Work is an important factor in the equasion

It’s funny how the harder I work the more successful I become.

Jack Warner

Well he should know a thing or two about success.

But this is a universal truth and not at all limited to succes in terms of society or finances. Be it success in your personal life, say a personal sports goal for example or be it something like a childhood dream you always wanted to fulfil:

The more work you put in, the sooner you’ll see results! At first it seems impossible, then improbable, and eventually inevitable. Go for it!

Get going

The first thing you’ll have to do, is the last thing you wished.

Edward Murphy

Sometimes you have to fight your own laziness.

You all experienced that feeling when you exactly know what you should be doing right now, but your body is all like ‘Nah man, just relax’.

Force yourself to get started! Just do it!

Chances are there is some thing like that right now. You should go shopping for groceries or make that one call. Maybe you should be studying or cleaning your appartment. Is there? Good, then I say greetings from Germany, get away from this blog and start doing whatever you really don’t want to but really have to do!

Don’t like working out? Listen up!

No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training.
What disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
Socrates

Birthday post, *yay* 🙂 This is a personal one, for sports is a pretty important topic to me and I love talking about it.

You are young and capable! As long as you are not physically handicapped you have no reason for not working out. It does not even count to say “I don’t like it”. If you told your parents you didn’t like studying in high school they were damn right to make you so either way.

With physical exercise it is almost the same but there is no one to kick your ass if you back out. So you have to be the one kicking your own ass, you have to be the one that tells yourself: Keep it up, feel a little pain daily but a lot of strenght in the long term.

The benefits are endless! Not only will you life healthier, you will also feel more confident, be more happy and less stressed. Sports and exercise are perfect for everyone and there is such a diversity of sports that you definitely will find something you peronally like!

I challenge you to start worling out immediately, starting with this day! On top of that, drink lots of tasty, tasty water. Why? This is not a diet you say and I agree. But water and training will increase your well-being and as important as that your well-feeling extremely. So start today, don’t even THINK about excuses, I dare you! Get up, put on your shoes, start running, put on your swim gear, start swimming, get on the floor, start push-ups. Start now and do not stop, make this a damn beautiful habit!
