Why not just be happy? :)

If you want to be happy, be.
Leo Tolstoi

Great quote from a great writer πŸ™‚ In addition, I recommend this song:

Are you doing what you really want to do?

Hey,

today I ask you to take yourself some time (maybe 10 Minutes) to think about some questions. Maybe even write them down to focus on them rather than reading and skipping them πŸ˜‰

Look at your life now. Are you living the life of your dreams?
1.If you have one year left to live, what would you do?
2. If you have one month left to live, what would you do?
3. If you have one week left to live, what would you do?
4. If you have one day left to live, what would you do?
5. If you have an hour left to live, what would you do?
6. If you have one minute left to live, what would you do?

So, what would YOU do?

You think you are prudent?

The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible – and achieve it, generation after generation

Are you willing to feel uncomfortable?

You can only grow if you’re willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.

Brian Tracy

Almost forgot this one today, better do it late than never πŸ™‚

Watch out, you are being surpassed!

The world is moving so fast these days that the man who says it can’t be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it.

Elbert Hubbard

Awesome quote! I totally like the idea of someone who is always complaining and seeing negative things about stuff, someone who always points out, why things CAN’T possibly work out, is suddenly surpassed by someone who is just doing the stuff the critical guy was doubting to be possible πŸ™‚

Start Dreaming!

Picking up the great idea of Felix and not naming this Post Dailymote 11/11/2010, but “Start Dreaming” πŸ™‚

All men dream:Β  but not equally.Β  Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity:Β  but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.

T.E. Lawrence

Start Dreaming today, not tonight, start being dangerous!

Don’t expect credit!

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Harry S. Truman

Stop thinking about getting rewards for your efforts, start doing things just because you like to do them. You will soon realise that this experience is worth much more than doing things for reward πŸ˜‰

By the way, over one month is over with almost daily posts, I didn’t think this blog would work out this well and I’ll keep it up πŸ™‚ Let me know if you got some criticism so I can rethink some things in order to enhance the quality of my blog πŸ™‚

Take a risk!

Hey there πŸ™‚

Playing it safe is one of the most common ways to fail

Elliott Smith

It may not be obvious, but it lies in the nature of humans that we like to play things save and fear change. Often times we chose living a mediocre and boring maybe even painfull life over a risky and adventureful lifestyle. But why? We can take a look at stars, at heroes in movies, at successful companies and we will see that noone of them decided to play it safe.

It is important to take risks and be open to change, a life of stagnation can never satisfy someone. So be open, see ‘obstacles’ as chances and take them! Are you ready to live your life to the fullest?

Edit: I just found this old treasure after 1 hour of desperate searching πŸ™‚

Think outside the box!

Hey πŸ™‚ could not post yesterday since I visited some friends and hat not time and no computer to do so, but here is todays quote, a good one for a rainy sunday afternoon:

You see things and you say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were and say ‘Why not?’
George Bernard Shaw

It is about inventing incredible good things rather than copying the existing ones, because no matter how good you might be at imitating, you’ll always be the second person to do something.
