Start to live!

The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.

W.M. Lewis

You all know the talking.

“I have to get good grades first”

“I have to get a good job first”

“I have to earn some money first”

And then what? Then you will enjoy yourself? Nope! If you don’t enjoy your free time right now you won’t do so in 20 years. And even if you do: You wasted 20 damn years of your life!

Don’t do that, don’t be stupid! Enjoy life right now. Work is important, work is a good thing. But you should have fun in life, that what it is all about!

Just do it!

Either you run the day or e day runs you.

Jim Rohn

The moment you start thinking like “I should be doing this, why am I so lazy and just browsing the web” you should actually just get over it and do it!

Don’t think about it, don’t think about pro and con, just start with it, that is the best way!

A bit of Sunday Courage

Courage is knowing what not to fear.

Plato

Courage is not absence of fear nor is it liking fear. It is to know your fears and to be able to live with them.

Know what you fear and know what certain things you just should not fear, no matter how you feel. You can do that, I’m sure!

How to treat people

Complain privately. Compliment publicly.

Show people some respect! Compliments work best with an audience because it multiplies the positive effect of bein complimented.

Complain on the other hand does not work at all with an audience involved. If you complain so someone in public he thinks about the humiliation and his social situation but not about the essence of the critique. Complain in private and in a nice tone on the contrary and he can make the best of your complaints.

Show some greatness, do it the right way!

Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.

About self-discipline

He who conquers others is strong; He who conquers himself is mighty.

Lao-Tzu

Forcing others to do something you want requires strength, but is extremely easy compared to forcing yourself to do something. Think about the last time you had an argument with yourself and the lazy you won. Got one? Next time you will win! Become mighty, become disciplined!
