Well that is not wrong in general but if you find yourself there too often you have to act! Don’t let your past memories be more awesome then your current situation or your perspective in the future!

If you find yourself thinking about your past too often, there has to be something wrong.
While the past can be awesome and fun to look at you should never dwell in it because you live now and soon will live in the future. As long as you spectate your past self you are not going to achieve something with your present self. And in some years when you want to look back on your bright past you will have to look further and further away of your current position.
Don’t go there, be awesome now!
