Well I certainly disagree with the 8 hours especially as a gerneal rule but it is important to keep your sleep free from distractions. Try to meditate before your sleep or keep a notepad at your bed so you don’t have to remember ideas but instead just write them down.

You have to protect your sleep. Good sleep is not a matter of time. You won’t feel more rested after 11 hours of lousy sleep than after a refreshing 5 hour badass sleep!

Trust me, sleep is a state where you don’t want any distractions, you want to have your mind cleared before you go to bed. Learn to do that and it will increase your life quality immensely!
