I thought a bit about freedom recently and came up with two great quotes.

To begin with, what is freedom?

Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear

If you wander around, doing what you like and telling poeple what you think, you are free!

You don’t fear losing something, you don’t bother being critisized, even rejected. You are free as soon as you act brave and bold, in accordance with your thoughts and believes.

On top of that freedom is a binary thing. People often talk about “having a little bit freedom” etc. and that is crap! Cut it out! Either you are free or you are not, there is no half-free! Freedom is a state of mind which is so eternal it can’t be “half” or “a bit”.

There is no such thing as a little freedom. Either you are all free, or you are not free.
