Just telling people how stuff works is a pretty useless attempt in teaching them. It will only work if they are really eager to learn and came to you for advice in the first place.

A way smarter method is telling a story that lets other people discover the lesson they should learn by themselves. This is a damn old concept but it’s important to remember. Always have good, interesting and useful stories with you that other people can learn from.
