Don’t look for scapegoats

Hi πŸ™‚

Today I am going to talk about fault and responsibility. Whenever something bad happens or something goes wrong in life people start blaming each other, they look for fault, for a scapegoat, but that does not lead anywhere. Instead we should use our brains to do something useful and work out a solution to the problematic situation. Like Henry Ford said:

Don’t find fault.Β  Find a remedy.

Of course it may be tempting and easy to find a person responsible for your bad feelings, but will it help? Imagine a situation where you try very hard to blame someone for being the reason of your bad feelings and he just commits to be the reason and shrugs his shoulders, doing his thing. What could you possibly do? Nothing! You would be the victim of your own thinking, knowing who has the “fault”, talking bad about him, but not getting any nearer to a solution.

Blame someone else!

All people complain about situations and easily start blaming others around them if something turns out to be wrong, but few have the courage to say: “Ok guys, we fucked this thing up, now let’s work together on finding a solution!”

In order to be so honest to your self you should just not care and you should not give a fuck! Why should it be bad for you to make mistakes? Making mistakes, honestly realising it and trying again is the only way towards success. If you were right all the time, how could you evolve? Not at all!

So stop defending your habits and actions and start creating a mindset of learning and applying new things! And by the way: Enjoy it πŸ˜‰

How could it be Calvins fault?

Do it!

Hey there πŸ™‚

Today I want to talk to you about the great difference between wanting to do things or even knowing how to do them and finally doing them for real.

All know the way; few actually walk it.

Bodhidharma

All people complain about things being tough. All people say they want to be rich and “it is so easy, you just have to do blablabla”. And guess what? They are right. All of them. But who is convinced enough and has the discipline to actually get shit done? So many people have their dreams and plans securely shut up in a closed container in their heads and noone bothers unleashing those powerful dreams!

Walk your way!

Everybody knows in his inside that hard work and a certain attitude will bring success in the long-run, but we are all way too lazy and sluggish to work our hands to the bones! We stay in our comfort zone, afraid to take risk, afraid to show courage. But guess what? There aint no achievement without commiting to the first step. Achievement is starting something and just doing it. And if you fail to do it a thousand times? Well then you know 1000 ways which are not the right ones and every failure brings you nearer to your goal!

Ask Edison about this topic, the man who had only a few months of school in his life and hit rock-bottom when he had to sell sweets on a train for four years. But he kept his dream in front of him, he kept trying and after thousands and thousands of failures finally invented the fucking light bulb! He is a great example of someone who knew AND walked his way.

So get back on track, ready yourself and walk on your own way! If anybody can do it than you can do it, that is the way to roll, so don’t be afraid to take the first step towards fullfilling your dream!

Action > Talking!

Suuuunday πŸ™‚ I got a lot of stuff done today so I’m quite happy about the amount of action that my day had. There you go guys, here’s a Chinese proverb just for you:

Talk doesn’t cook rice

Just do it!

Hi πŸ™‚

Wow, 8th day with this blog, that means over a week, the time just passes by so fast πŸ™‚

We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing.Β  Action always generates inspiration.Β  Inspiration seldom generates action.

Frank Tibolt

Do you tend to sit around, doing nothing, waiting for motivation to come from somewhere? “I don’t have a good idea right now, I just wait, till it pops up in my mind.” Fuck that, in order to create inspiration and motivation you have to take action and this is nothing somebody else can do for you. Life is movement and you should not be afraid to progress slowly, but only to stand still. So get up your lazy ass and do something!

Done anything today?

Happy End :)

Hey guys, I’ll make it short for today πŸ™‚

Everything will be ok in the end. If it’s not ok, then it’s not the end!

Why should you not believe in a happy ending? Why should you fear a bad ending or a bad outcome? Has it not all tourned out well in the end? I do believe in a damn happy ending and I reccommend this way of thinking, because it is fucking great, believe me πŸ™‚

Meditation

Hi πŸ™‚

The reactions on the word ‘meditation’ are different from person to person, but most people give me a ‘What, are you serious about this?’-Look, when I use this word. So I tend to describe it with other words or try to give it another touch. This quote does this description very well in my eyes and is therefore my dailymote for today:

Have you ever sat very quietly with closed eyes and watched the movement of your own thinking? Have you watched your mind working?or rather, has your mind watched itself in operation, just to see what your thoughts are, what your feelings are, how you look at the trees, at the flowers, at the birds, at people, how you respond to a suggestion or react to a new idea? Have you ever done this?

Jiddu Krishnamurti

Well, to be honest, I don’t think that it defines Meditation or anything, but it merely gives an idea of what it means to stop the rush of daily life, to stop the always ongoing noise of your mind and to just be quiet for some time, being inside your head and just spectating your own thoughts, without any judgement or logical treatment. If you first try to do so, if you first try to ‘watch yourself’, you’ll find it to be very hard, almost impossible. But with time and training you will gain a better understanding of your own personality and you become way more calm and happy.

With some patience and the will to experience something new and positive, this exercise (call it meditation, sitting quiet, watching your thoughts or oompa-loompaing) will help you a lot and give you a clearer mind to cope with daily life problems and situations.

Enemy or Friend?

Hey there πŸ™‚

In the practice of tolerance, one’s enemy is the best teacher

Dalai Lama

Friend or enemy, it is your decision!

Think about it, has any of your good friends ever given you a harsh lesson of how to accept shitty things as they are or how to be friendly and open-hearted even to persons who behave completely different than you like them too? When it comes to practise of tolerance, people you really don’t like around you help you more than any friend can ever do, no matter how hard he tries.

This is another example of how there is a good use of every situation in life. For example in school, the teacher places you next to the class bully, who you really dislike. You know that you have to sit there for a long time, for many hours during many boring lessons, so you start getting used to it and make the best out of your situation, which is: Being tolerant and open-hearted.

Keep this advice in your mind the next time you interact with people, no matter if it is at work, on the street in the cinema or wherever.

Action, Action, Action!

Hi Hi πŸ™‚

Only can action can transform knowledge into wisdom

Dan Millman

One of my favourite quotes of Dan Millman, one of my fafourite authors πŸ™‚ Knowledge without action is just like fuel without an engine to put it into. For an example if you study science for 20 years, but never start an active project using your theoretical knowledge, you did not gain much from all the studying, did you? Life is about doing and experiencing, not about watching and thinking.

Lazy dog

Being lazy and sluggish? Wake up, take action!

Instead of standing at the borders of life watching other people around you succeed in areas you just know in theory you should just get out there and make your own experience. You can read thousands of books about swimming, but nothing will teach you better how to swim than jumping into the water and being in action. Like Bruce Lee said:

If you want to learn to swim jump into the water.Β  On dry land no frame of mind is ever going to help you

If you want to become a successful manager for instance, you have to start managing in some way, you won’t become successful by reading books about management! The same goes with personal development: It is definitely good and helpful to read or listen to self development texts or watch motivational movies, but if you do nothing else, if you bother putting those things into action, nothin will happen at all.

The crucial point is: YOU have to do it! YOU have to go out there, YOU have to start now and YOU can’t waste any more time sitting around, doing nothing in the end. Better get started, if you don’t want to oversleep your life!

Positive Thinking

Hey πŸ™‚

Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviors. Keep your behaviors positive because your behaviors become your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.

Gandhi and/or Lao Tse

I have read some different variations of this quote, but this on seems to be the easiest in my eyes. It is very important that we keep our thoughts positive and maintain a positive mindset. Without a positive mindset, no success will come in the long-run. If you start thinking with a bad attitude towards things in life, they will turn out badly, because you will unconciously project your reality and your impression of things on your environment.

Ever thought about seeing things through a new perspective?

That is why some poeple live as there were no miracles at all and some poeple just see everything as a miracle. Many people still categorize into good or bad things and pretend that there are certain circumstances that are just bad and that bring you down, but everything is relative and a definition like “good” or “bad” is nothing that a situation or an object can obtain, it is something that is created by YOUR mind.

So watch your thoughts and make it a habit to see the bright side of life, the results will come! Life is plain beatiful, but you have to allow yourselves to see it like that, so free your mind from negative influences or bad ideas!

You got no time?

Good Mornin’ πŸ™‚

You tell me you don’t have enough time to do shit? Look at you, you have the same fucking time as Franklin D. Roosevelt, Barack Obama or Michael Jackson had!

Philipp Kleidt

When it comes to work or onΒ  the other hand procrastination, we always find our own personal excuses. “It’s too cold”, “There are risks” “I’m too old” “I’m too young” and one of the most heard excuses is: “I don’t have the time to do this or that”.

To say you don’t have time just means you don’t give a shit. If you want to do something, you find the time to do so. Why should you have not enought time, you got the same time as everyone else. You just have to set your own priorities and get out of your comfort zone in order to achieve stuff and that’s when efficient time management comes in. You have 24 hours a day and that is definitely a lot of time if you spend it on things you love to do and if you do them with passion and eager.

So stop wasting your time with useless stuff and take time for things you relly love to do! The fact that today is sunday is random but definitively a good day to start thinking about how to use your free time πŸ˜‰

Make youselves a happy day,

/phil

PS: A nice video about excuses:
