It’s not a race

When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everybody will respect you.

Bring out your best

When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.

Don’t you ever forget: Life is awesome!

Think big. Dream bigger. Live biggest.
Refuse to accept any reality smaller than you are. For you are a caravan of potentials, a bazaar of possibilities, a world within a world of wonders.

GET UP AND GET STARTED!

So this post is one hour early. The first post in over a year to be not on time. Why you ask?

Well as you know I always liked the topic of sleep / getting up early. Lately I stumbled upon this great sports motivation video that really shouted in my face: You can do it!

So, don’t listen to your sleepyhead telling you to go back to sleep. Hit that asshole with a frying pan (or whatever lies next to your bed), get up and get going! You can do it!

Push forward!

Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Always have something going on

Be too busy to have time for regrets.

Angela Wright

Too much thinking about your life is always bad. Because time spent reflecting is time you are not using to make new experiences and memories. After a while the thinking and reflecting will have consumed so much time that you have no new things, that change dies and you won’t be happy.

Just do stuff instead, find meaningful and passionate hobbies and work in a field that you love.

Excuses

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.

You are scared of your own success, don’t be!

It is intimidating but it’s worth to put up with the nervous moments.

Why you should love your job

It’s so hard when I have to, and so easy when I want to.

Annie Gottlier

Working for money is not working out at all, it will tear you apart.

Working for your passion, doing what you love, that will work. And it will bring money in the long run, so don’t worry too much, get good at what you love!

Aer you underestimating yourself?

You probably are.

It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not.

You will know this feeling: Seeing someone in a successful position, be it actor, musician or manager, and thinking ‘How can he pull that off, I could not, he must know so much more.’

Maybe the person does know much more. But it wasn’t always like that. One day the person knew exactly as much as you did, but decided to go for it anyway. Now see where it has brought other people to just start.

You can achieve what every other human being can achieve. Persistence and Motivation are the keys to success, so wrap your hand around it and get going!

Mindset!

A stumbling block to the pessimist is a stepping stone to the optimist.

Eleanor Roosevelt

Well you could call this quote a classic and although it seems obvious and simple, it is important and profound.

There is the saying that there are no heavy obstacles, just better and worse ways to cope with them.

Obstacles always come with solutions that you can figure out. This process is great and gives you a great reward, a great feeling of satisfaction. So instead of seeing obstacles as something negative, be happy to encounter them and see them as a fun challenge.

Be like a child. If a child has to face some not so cool things (‘Wash the dishes’ to give an example) you can easily convert this task into a fun game. The child then sees the challenge, the chance for achievement, and diggs in. Be like that, think like that!
